East Money: The controlling shareholder plans to donate 20 million shares of the company to Shanghai Jiao Tong University Education Development Foundation
On February 26, East Money Information Co., Ltd. (300059.SZ) announced that it received a notice from the company’s controlling shareholder and actual controller. To support education development, promote talent cultivation, and technological innovation, they plan to donate 20 million unrestricted circulating shares they hold in the company to the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Education Development Foundation, accounting for 0.13% of the company’s total share capital.
At the same time, the company stated that this donation will not result in a change of the company’s controlling shareholder, nor will it have a significant impact on the company’s governance structure or ongoing operations.
