On February 24, Wang Chuang, the Chief of the Civil Second Division of the Supreme People’s Court, stated at the Supreme People’s Court press conference that in 2025, the nationwide courts accepted 6.791 million first-instance civil and commercial cases, a year-on-year increase of 22%; and concluded 6.536 million cases, an increase of 18.9%.
