Honeywell has amended its agreement to acquire Johnson Matthey Plc’s Catalyst Technologies business, reducing the total consideration by $640 million to approximately $1.79 billion. The deal, initially announced in May 2025 for $2.4 billion, has also seen its long stop date extended to July 2026, with a possible further extension to August 2026. This adjustment aims to integrate Catalyst Technologies into Honeywell’s Energy and Sustainability Solutions segment, enhancing its portfolio and allowing for cost efficiencies.
