Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Mines recently announced a suspension of all raw ore and lithium concentrate exports (including in-transit goods). According to reports from Zhongkuang Resources and Yahua Group, the lithium export ban in Zimbabwe is a temporary measure, expected to be lifted within 1 to 4 weeks. Currently, the company has sufficient raw material inventory, so the impact on production and operations is limited. A person from Yahua Group’s Securities Department stated that companies with mining rights and beneficiation plants can apply for export after submitting additional materials, and the company is already preparing to submit these materials. Zhongkuang Resources indicated that new approval procedures will be introduced later, and the ban is expected to last less than a month, depending on the approval process. (Cailian Press)
