GF Securities pointed out that during the Spring Festival travel rush, the overall cross-regional movement of people in society achieved steady growth on a high base, with total volume possibly reaching a new high. Among them, civil aviation passenger transportation saw significant year-on-year growth, with both volume and price increasing: in terms of volume, civil aviation passenger trips during the Spring Festival holiday continued to hit new highs, and aircraft utilization rates improved daily; in terms of price, the average ticket price for domestic economy class routes increased year-on-year. International routes benefited from visa exemptions and policies to boost consumption, with nearby international short trips remaining the top choice for travelers. Regarding railways, the overall growth during the Spring Festival was considerable. In highway passenger transport, the normalization of demand for reverse trips, niche travel, and holiday tourism, along with systemic moderate changes, led to a year-on-year increase in passenger volume.

The Transportation ETF (561320) tracks the Mainland Transportation Index (000945), which mainly includes transportation companies operating within China. The index selects listed companies involved in railway, highway, shipping, and aviation sectors as its samples to reflect the overall performance and development trends of listed transportation companies in the Mainland.
