Divorce rates are increasing nowadays. Among your friends, colleagues, and even relatives, many are drifting apart in marriage.

Watching them go from once being sweethearts to a mess, I really want to say a few heartfelt words to everyone who is about to get married.
1. Marriage is the one thing you absolutely cannot afford to choose wrong in your life
Marriage is essentially a resource reorganization between two families—everyday expenses, elderly, children, all require money. If you can't even take care of yourself, you'll only end up with chaos after marriage. Money can't solve all problems, but it can solve most. Economic conditions, character, and ability are always more reliable than fleeting sweet words.
2. Marriage can't change anyone
Sense of responsibility, ambition, character, and personality are deeply ingrained. The person you are before marriage is likely to be the same or worse after. Don't expect a marriage certificate to transform someone. Love can end in breakup; marriage is like pulling a thread that affects everything else. The cost of trial and error is too high.
3. Don't hold the idea that love must be lifelong
Love is for screening, not for forcing. If you're compatible, enjoy it; if not, cut losses in time. Don't deceive yourself, don't settle, and definitely don't force yourself for the so-called "responsibility." Clarify your bottom line before marriage; it's better than crying and regretting afterward.
4. Listen to your parents about marriage
They see more clearly and care more about you than you do. Many people insist on marrying despite advice, and most end up regretting. Be extra cautious if your parents don't approve.
5. Don't marry too early without independence and maturity
Marriage is an adult responsibility, not a refuge or a game. Without financial independence and personal maturity, entering marriage will only make you more passive and more wronged.
6. Marriage is about changing your fate. Choose the right person for lifelong happiness; choose the wrong person for lifelong suffering
Don't just focus on "he treats me well," because that kindness can be taken back. Consider family background, character, parents, and sense of responsibility. Poverty and hardship can bring sorrow; be realistic—not about being materialistic, but about being responsible for yourself.
7. Don't expect marriage to be forever smooth
No one can support you for a lifetime. Marriage is about finding a partner, not a long-term meal ticket. Both partners need to bear responsibilities and share burdens; only then can life go on. Relying on one person alone will eventually cause the whole thing to collapse.
8. Stay away from people who use cold violence
Those who use cold violence, avoid communication, or escape before marriage will only get worse after. This kind of personality can't be changed; cut losses in time—that's being responsible for yourself.
9. Always keep the ability to leave at any time
Financial independence and mental independence are your greatest confidence. Don't pin all your hopes on others; the only person you can always rely on is yourself.
Entering marriage is easy, but leaving is hard. I hope every girl can be more clear-headed and rational. Don't be blinded by love; choose carefully, take your time, marry someone worth it, and live a life without regrets.
