Deep Tide TechFlow News: On February 25, according to Caixin, a hearing on the "Legal Application Issues" regarding the laundering of 60,000 Bitcoins will be held in July. Chinese victims planning to pursue recovery through the UK process need to provide additional detailed financial information, including total investment, loss amount, and any compensation received along with supporting evidence, by June 18, 2026. It is reported that this hearing will be crucial for the disposal of the 60,000 Bitcoins. Under Chinese law, victims have a creditor-debtor relationship with Lantian Grey, and can only recover the principal amount; under UK law, victims hold proprietary rights to the Bitcoins, and the appreciation of the loss amount may also be recoverable.
