On February 24th, Wang Chuang, head of the Civil Second Division of the Supreme People’s Court, stated at the Supreme People’s Court press conference that the Supreme Court is actively promoting the improvement of corporate legal person governance structures. By 2025, the nationwide courts will have accepted 175,300 first-instance cases related to corporate disputes, an increase of 51.07% year-on-year. Courts at all levels are taking measures such as source governance to prevent “chain lawsuits,” properly resolving internal family business disputes, substantively breaking deadlocks in companies, and standardizing the behavior of shareholders and management, actively guiding private enterprises to improve their corporate governance structures.
