Winter storms sweep across the United States, causing thousands of flights to be canceled.

CCTV Reporter On February 23rd, local time, it was reported that a powerful storm brought heavy snow and strong winds to most parts of the northeastern United States, causing nearly complete disruption of air traffic in the region. Data from flight tracking website FlightAware shows that as of around 10 a.m. Eastern Time, more than 5,500 flights in and out of the United States have been canceled, with hundreds more delayed.

It is reported that the highest number of cancellations occurred at John F. Kennedy International Airport and LaGuardia Airport in New York, followed by airports in Boston, Newark, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. The flight disruptions may continue to worsen.
