Changi Airport's passenger throughput hits a new record in 2025

Changi Airport recently released statistics showing that in 2025, the airport’s passenger throughput reached a record 69.98 million, a growth of approximately 3.4% compared to 67.70 million in 2024, surpassing pre-COVID-19 records. The Changi Airport Group stated that the passenger volume in 2025 reflects a significant rebound in air travel demand and an expansion of the route network. Among the major passenger markets, China ranked first with a growth rate of 12.2%, followed by Indonesia and Malaysia in second and third place, indicating Changi Airport’s dominant position in Southeast Asia’s passenger traffic. Additionally, passenger flows from other countries such as Australia, India, and Thailand also ranked highly, demonstrating that the entire Asia-Pacific region is driving the growth of passenger demand at Changi Airport.
