Changjiang: Tailings Comprehensive Recycling Production Line Project Rushes to Completion

Hainan Daily News (Hainan Daily Multimedia Reporter Liu Yangxiu, Correspondent Zhong Yuying) “Although I can’t go home for the New Year, having a reunion dinner with my coworkers and watching the Spring Festival Gala together makes celebrating the New Year here quite good.” Recently, at the site of the 5 million tons tailings comprehensive recycling production line project in Chashan Town, Changjiang Li Autonomous County, the equipment installation team leader Ren Yingwei and more than 50 construction workers are steadfastly working on the project, fully sprinting toward the completion goal.

At the project site, machines are roaring, workers are transporting and unloading construction materials, precisely controlling the positioning of lifting machinery, and welding key equipment. Currently, the overall progress of the project has reached 70%, with efforts focused on installing auxiliary equipment. The project is expected to be completed and undergo joint debugging by the end of April this year to ensure the goal of production startup is met on schedule.

To ensure continuous and uninterrupted construction during the Spring Festival, the project team has proactively coordinated and planned, scientifically formulated construction schemes, equipped sufficient personnel, equipment, and materials, and strengthened safety and quality assurance across the entire chain. This guarantees that personnel are on site, machinery is fully loaded, processes are continuous, and progress is controllable. Meanwhile, warm logistical support is being provided, including a specially prepared New Year’s Eve dinner for frontline workers, distribution of overtime bonuses and care packages for the Spring Festival, making the construction more vigorous and the dedication warmer.

It is understood that the total investment in this project is 450 million yuan, covering an area of about 137 acres. It will create a high-standard, modern, intelligent, and clean solid waste comprehensive utilization workshop integrating sorting, shaping, sand making, dry casting, grinding, crushing, filtration, and finished product storage. Once completed, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of 400 million yuan, contribute over 50 million yuan in taxes annually, and drive supporting upstream and downstream industries worth over 100 million yuan, promoting high-quality economic development in Changjiang.
