Centrifuge and Pharos collaborate to advance on-chain distribution infrastructure for institutional assets

This collaboration focuses on solving a key challenge in institutional onchain finance: distribution.

On February 17, 2026, Centrifuge and Pharos announced a partnership aimed at enabling scalable distribution and operation of institutional-grade assets—including tokenized U.S. Treasuries (JTRSY) and AAA-rated structured credit products (JAAA)—on the blockchain through a shared infrastructure framework.

This partnership addresses a critical challenge in institutional onchain finance: distribution. Although asset tokenization has made significant progress, many institutional assets remain difficult to access, fragmented across different platforms, or become “static assets” with no ongoing use cases after issuance. The goal of this collaboration is to ensure that institutional assets are not just “issued on-chain,” but can remain actively usable within a real, operational onchain financial system.

In many markets outside the U.S. and Western Europe, access to dollar-denominated credit and government bond products still faces regulatory, registration, custody, and operational restrictions. Even when these products are tokenized, their distribution often remains indirect and fragmented, limiting their reach to new participants and reducing their potential for active deployment and use after onchain issuance.

By integrating Centrifuge’s institutional tokenization infrastructure and asset standards with Pharos’s “inclusive, execution-first” Layer 1, this collaboration aims to address these challenges at the system level. Pharos will serve as the strategic liquidity and distribution layer for assets issued via Centrifuge, providing high-performance infrastructure and ecosystem connectivity to facilitate broader capital inflows and deeper onchain liquidity pathways. This integrated environment covers wallet access, platform and enterprise channels, and execution capabilities, enabling assets to be accessed, aggregated, allocated, and reused rather than remaining dormant after issuance.

Centrifuge Labs CEO Bhaji Illuminati stated, “Tokenization alone cannot solve issues of accessibility and usability. The focus of this partnership is to build the distribution and infrastructure layer that allows institutional assets to function effectively within a real onchain financial environment.”

Pharos is positioned as an inclusive financial Layer 1 for RealFi, supporting high-throughput real-world financial workflows through native deep parallel execution and modular architecture. The network aims to host large-scale institutional asset activity and enable continuous onchain operations.
