From Baiyun Airport, it is learned that on the 20th day of the Spring Festival travel rush in 2026 (February 21), Baiyun Airport handled 1,676 flights in a single day, transported 277,600 passengers, and ensured the delivery of 4,154.14 tons of mail and cargo, representing an increase of 7.37%, 9.12%, and 9.1% respectively compared to the previous year's Spring Festival travel rush. Among these, passenger throughput broke the single-day passenger flow record for the Spring Festival travel rush. Since the Spring Festival travel rush began on February 2, Baiyun Airport has transported a total of 5.2785 million passengers, becoming the first airport nationwide to surpass 5 million passengers during the Spring Festival travel rush, welcoming a "good start" for the New Year.
