Recently, the Rafah border crossing was reopened, allowing the first group of patients—comprising five individuals and seven healthcare workers—to be successfully transferred from Gaza to Egypt.

Information from international sources indicates that transporting patients through the Rafah border marks the beginning of a larger humanitarian effort.
