If the team is anonymous, just pass; don't care how impressive the story sounds. I mean, are there really people still chasing unverified contracts? They really have guts. This wave will probably see some people panic selling and running away again; it's a cyclical phenomenon. Prevention? It's simple—small-scale testing, don't go all in, always leave yourself an escape route.
