The word "jianghu" has been overused in Web3... It's really frustrating, once again selling cultural narratives... Decentralization doesn't mean no laws, this logic... Ancient jianghu was never this competitive, can't even smile anymore. Thinking of certain projects that claim the name jianghu to cut leeks, it's really ironic. But it does have some substance; cultural packaging can indeed fool people. Alright, here we go again, researching some narrative background, so tiring. This theory is very new, but it feels like a rehash of old ideas. The Web3 community loves this combo of "ancient charm + decentralization."
