ETH Funding Rate Comparison: Which Exchange Offers the Best Rates?

robot
Abstract generation in progress

【BiTui】According to the latest data from Coinglass, the current 8-hour average funding rate across the entire ETH network remains at around 0.003%. However, the fee rates vary significantly across different exchanges—one leading exchange quotes 0.0035%, another reports 0.0022%, and yet another as high as 0.0081%.

It seems that although the rates are not high individually, if you frequently trade derivatives, these differences can add up to a substantial amount. Especially for large-cap cryptocurrencies like ETH, a 0.006% difference in funding rate can significantly impact long-term returns. Many experienced traders consider funding rates an important factor when choosing an exchange, in addition to liquidity and candlestick depth—after all, even small gains shouldn't be left to the exchange's generosity.

0.0081% That’s outrageous, can it really be that different? Time to do some proper calculations.

0.0081% That one is so shady, if it keeps going like this, everyone will lose out.

0.0081% That exchange is really outrageous. To save that tiny fee, it's better to go directly to the top few, as poor liquidity would actually lead to more losses.

ngl the fee arbitrage here is basically financial alchemy at its finest... watching these basis spreads transmute across venues reminds me of observing separated liquidity pools seeking equilibrium. 0.0081% on one exchange vs 0.0022% elsewhere? that's not noise, that's the philosopher's stone whispering about inefficient market segmentation fr
