In-Depth Analysis of Top XRP Distribution: 5 Wallets Control 7.4 Billion Tokens
Analysis data on XRP holder structure reveals an interesting picture of token concentration. According to the latest statistics, the top 5 wallets, each holding at least 1 billion XRP, collectively manage over 7.4 billion XRP. This figure clearly reflects a strong concentration at the peak of the XRP ecosystem. Notably, the Top 10 addresses currently hold about 38.62% of the total XRP supply, indicating a relatively high level of concentration.
Expanding the scope, 22 wallets with balances ranging from 500 million to 1 billion XRP hold an additional more than 12 billion XRP. These two groups together control a significant amount of XRP, reflecting a concentration of token power in the hands of whale holders.
On the other hand, a more dispersed picture appears among smaller holders. About 1,446 accounts holding between 1 million and 5 million XRP each manage nearly 2.7 billion XRP. Over 1.3 million wallets with balances below 20 XRP contribute only about 17 million XRP to the total supply.
Currently, XRP has a total of 7,507,537 addresses holding tokens, reflecting a fairly broad community of holders. However, the distribution structure clearly shows a large disparity between holder tiers—from “super whales” holding billions of tokens to millions of small wallets storing only minimal amounts of XRP. This is a common characteristic among many major tokens in the crypto space and raises questions about decentralization and long-term stability of XRP as a leading asset within the ecosystem.
