Wu Shuo learned that according to an official announcement from Fusion (by IPOR), the IPOR team received an alert on January 6th and discovered malicious transactions targeting the Fusion Optimizer Vault on Arbitrum. After investigation, it was found that the vulnerability resulted in a loss of 336,000 USDC. The attack targeted only a specific legacy Fusion Vault, and due to its unique configuration, only this Vault was susceptible to such attacks. The loss amount is less than 1% of Fusion's total assets under management. Currently, the IPOR team is collaborating with relevant security institutions to track and recover the funds. Meanwhile, the IPOR DAO will compensate for the loss through treasury reserves, and all affected depositors will receive full compensation. Other Fusion Vaults are unaffected.
