Stepping back, I keep thinking about who the internet is really built for, and this is where IOPn stands out to me.

At its core, @IOPn_io is based on a simple idea. The internet should serve people, not platforms. Right now, apps control our data, our accounts, and even our online reputation. Users are mostly locked in.

What I like about IOPn is the shift in ownership. Identity and assets live directly onchain, under the user’s control. That means portability, persistence, and freedom to move without starting over each time.

For me, this feels like a necessary reset. When users own their identity, the power balance changes. Builders can still create great apps, but people stay in control of who they are and what they bring with them.
