#比特币网络升级 Recently, discussions about the risk of quantum attacks on Bitcoin have been quite interesting, with various voices in the community. Seeing the response from Bitcoin Core lead developer Jameson Lopp, I think this is the most rational attitude—neither overly pessimistic nor blindly optimistic.

Quantum computing is indeed a long-term concern, but there’s no need to panic in the short term. The real test is: if the quantum threat truly materializes, can the Bitcoin network complete upgrades and transformations within 5-10 years? This involves unprecedented challenges such as protocol modifications and fund migrations, but that is also the resilience of decentralized networks—through community consensus, we can face any technical challenge.

I see some people creating anxiety, and others promoting solutions, which is normal. But the value of such risk discussions precisely reflects the rational spirit of the Web3 ecosystem: identifying problems, thorough discussion, and proactive preparation. Since Bitcoin’s inception, it has faced countless doubts and tests, and this time will be no different.

The best attitude is: stay alert but confident, continue to innovate but remain calm. Believe in the strength of the Bitcoin network and the development community!
