2026 Perp DEX Gold Rush Map: An Overview of 18 Projects Worth Tracking

The perpetual DEX sector is rapidly expanding. In addition to leading players, a new wave of entrants is reshaping the derivatives trading ecosystem. These 18 projects represent the core force of this wave of innovation, approaching perpetual trading, liquidity mining, and trading depth optimization from different angles.

Key projects include: Cascade, Extended, Paradex, GRVT, 01Exchange, Ethereal DEX, Axiome, Decibel Trade, Hibachi, Variational, StandX, Rise Trade, Backpack, Pacifica, Ostium Labs, and others.

These platforms each have their own特色—some focus on low-latency trading experiences, some emphasize liquidity incentive mechanisms, and others innovate in user interface and risk management. For users interested in yield farming or experiencing multi-chain perpetual trading, 2026 will be a year full of opportunities.

It’s worth noting that choosing a platform should not only consider project popularity but also focus on liquidity depth, trading fees, risk control mechanisms, and ecosystem incentive policies. In the context of increasing market competition, those who can offer better trading experiences and higher earning potential will attract more users and capital attention.

It's that kind of "Gold Rush Map" again, feels like a new batch of projects to mine every month... 18? That's a bit too many. I'll just focus on a few with deep liquidity. I've heard of Paradex and GRVT, but most of the others I haven't heard of. Fees and risk control are the key; high popularity doesn't necessarily mean easy profits. Feels like I need to start doing some homework again. Has anyone experienced these platforms? If I don't grasp this wave well, I'll be cutting losses again in 2026. Low latency? Sounds good, but how many can actually provide stable returns? New projects carry significant risks. Let's wait and see which ones survive. How about Backpack? Is anyone using it? Too many options can lead to pitfalls. It's better to stick with one or two reliable ones.

Another wave of new projects is coming, but how many can actually survive? Here we go again, every year they say 2026 is the year of opportunity, last year was the same, haha. Perp DEX is so competitive, liquidity has already been taken by the top players, what can new projects use to compete with Dydx? Out of those 18, I have my doubts about how many can really come out on top. Everyone can pile on fees and incentives, but the key still depends on whether there is real trading volume.

Eighteen projects sound like a lot, but probably only a few will actually survive.
