The last trading day of 2025 witnessed a significant wave of fund withdrawals — the total outflow of BTC and ETH exceeded $400 million.

The performance of Bitcoin ETFs was particularly notable, with IBIT leading, experiencing a single-day outflow of $99 million. ARKB followed closely with an outflow of $76.5 million, and FBTC also contributed an outflow of $66 million. The outflows for BITB and HODL were relatively smaller, at $13.8 million and $6.8 million respectively.

The situation for Ethereum was equally noteworthy. Grayscale's ETH product saw an outflow of $32 million, ETHA outflowed $21.5 million, ETHV outflowed $14.1 million, while FETH and EZET each experienced outflows of $2.2 million. This series of data reflects an attitude adjustment among institutional investors towards these two major mainstream assets at the end of the year, which warrants close attention from market participants.

I'm just saying, this wave of outflows is not about attitude adjustment at all. It's institutions setting traps for retail investors. The year-end dumping is an old trick... Looking at the head and shoulders pattern on the candlestick chart, it's definitely a bearish signal. I even bought the dip at a high level yesterday, and now my face is burning with regret.
