Dare not even handle 1000 points of fluctuation? Your perspective is too narrow. Already halfway through 86588 and still waiting? I've already gone all in on the next target. This so-called stability is a load of crap; if it's stable, then just accept the losses. But to be fair, splitting into batches is indeed more reliable than all in.
