A major online travel platform's international version has just confirmed the rollout of stablecoin payment functionality. Users who want to experience it need to change their account language to English and switch the currency to USD, so that they can see the cryptocurrency payment options at checkout.

Existing users have tested this feature by booking hotels in Tokyo, Japan, or purchasing All Nippon Airways (ANA) flight tickets, and the system will prompt the stablecoin payment option. Currently supported stablecoins include the two mainstream options, USDT and USDC.

In terms of blockchain transfer support, the platform has integrated the Ethereum and Solana mainnets, and is also compatible with the TON chain transfer method. This multi-chain architecture provides users with more flexible asset transfer options.

Do you need to switch to USD to see it in English? This trick is a bit showy, locking the language directly is really very Web3 style. Actually, both Solana and TON are supported, which is much better than some platforms that only recognize ETH. Tokyo hotels can now be paid with USDC... I like this trend; the tourism ecosystem is gradually being infiltrated. Multi-chain support is pretty good, just worried that liquidity might be an issue. theoretically speaking, if we map the interoperability vector across eth → solana → ton, we're essentially witnessing recursive SNARKs in payment settlement... the fact that they're abstracting away chain selection from the user experience is *chef's kiss* but also lowkey terrifying for cross-rollup state verification. like imagine the bridge functions needed to keep everything synced lmao
