Hyperliquid enables native USDC cross-chain transfers, set to replace the Arbitrum bridge

Abstract generation in progress

[Crypto World] Hyperliquid just made a major move—they’ve enabled USDC transfers between HyperCore and HyperEVM. Now users can deposit native USDC directly into HyperCore without any detours.

Even more significant, the team has clearly stated that they plan to gradually phase out the Arbitrum bridge. In the future, all USDC will follow the native minting route, which means capital flow efficiency will increase significantly.

Speaking of data, there are currently 6.64 billion USDC on Arbitrum, with 4.73 billion locked in Hyperliquid’s Arbitrum bridge. This architecture adjustment should bring notable changes to the liquidity management of these massive funds. Once the native cross-chain solution is fully rolled out, it will be a qualitative leap for capital efficiency and user experience across the entire ecosystem.

The amount of locked-up assets is way too high.
