Saga Metals (SAGMF), confirms the discovery of a 106.8-meter-high high-grade polymetallic ore body… iron, titanium, vanadium "simultaneously obtained"
Saga Metals ( OTCQB: SAGMF ) has released drilling results for the “Hunter South” section of its radar project in Labrador, Canada, once again confirming the potential presence of high-grade oxidized ore bodies. The company said that these results will serve as an important basis for future resource estimates (MRE) and economic reviews.
The analysis results for drill holes R-0027 to R-0029 from Saga Metals show that within the longest 106.8-meter interval, high-grade oxidized minerals were confirmed, with 44.41% (Fe2O3, 5.36% )TiO2, and 0.341% (V2O5. Notably, in some sections, while iron content reached 53.02%, titanium content exceeded 6%, confirming the possibility of a “high-grade polymetallic ore body.” Previously announced intervals also confirmed continuous ore bodies of up to 80.8 meters and 105.7 meters, with analysis indicating the formation of thick mineralized zones.
This drilling program targets a 2026 resource estimate, with a total scale of 11,128 meters. Among the 55 drill holes completed to date, all have confirmed oxidized minerals. In particular, mineralized intervals with thickness exceeding 100 meters have been repeatedly confirmed, highlighting the possibility of resource expansion across the entire project area.
The industry not only focuses on iron ore, but also on the co-existing titanium and vanadium. Vanadium is a necessary material for energy storage devices and specialty alloys, and has been viewed as a strategic mineral amid the recent “energy transition” trend. Mineral analysis experts said, “Compared with a single-mineral deposit, this multi-metal combination can significantly improve the project’s economics,” and noted that “the metallurgical test results that determine future metal recovery rates will be the key variable.”
While advancing subsequent drilling, Saga Metals is also conducting metallurgical tests in parallel. The company plans to use these to verify the feasibility of actual extraction and purification. Relevant company personnel said, “So far, the results strongly support the potential of the radar project,” and added that “a clearer value will be demonstrated in the next resource release.”
