西班牙银行巨头 BBVA 加入欧盟银行稳定币项目,挑战美元主导地位

ChainCatcher 消息,西班牙第二大银行 BBVA 宣布加入 Qivalis,成为该阿姆斯特丹稳定币项目的第 12 家成员银行。

Qivalis 旨在推出欧元锚定的受监管稳定币,为欧盟市场提供数字欧元支付和结算选项,同时挑战美元稳定币的主导地位。该项目现有成员包括 BNP Paribas、ING、UniCredit 等欧盟主要银行,目标是通过银行网络发行稳定币,为企业和消费者提供无需依赖区块链以外第三方或传统金融体系的支付渠道。目前,全球稳定币市场约 3000 亿美元,其中仅 8.6 亿美元与单一欧元挂钩。美元稳定币仍占主导:Tether 的 USDT 市值约 1850 亿美元,Circle Internet 的 USDC 市值约 700 亿美元。
