People’s Financial News, 17 March — Recently, Jilin Chemical Fiber Group’s wet-process 3K carbonization line with a capacity of thousands of tons has officially begun debugging and commissioning. The single-line capacity reaches 1,500 tons/year, producing products that are hair-free, colorless, and evenly spun, with stable and reliable performance. It can provide carbon fiber materials for high-end fields such as aerospace, medical devices, and automotive lightweighting. Currently, Jilin Chemical Fiber Group’s wet-process 3K carbon fiber capacity has reached 5,000 tons/year. Since the second half of last year, it has been in a state of supply shortage. In the first quarter of this year, it maintained continuous full-capacity operation, and its products have been widely recognized and favored in domestic and international markets. This year, Jilin Chemical Fiber Group will have 7 carbonization lines gradually completed and put into operation, with the total carbon fiber capacity expected to surpass 100,000 tons.
