Only after completing KYC can users deposit and withdraw cryptocurrencies, trade fiat currencies, and participate in Startup subscriptions.
How to Complete Identity Verification on the Gate Mobile App
Step 1: Log in to your Gate account in the app, tap the profile icon in the upper-left corner, then go to [Profile] - [KYC (Identity Verification)] - [Verify Now].
① Basic Information
Follow the on-screen prompts and enter your details, including Residence, Nationality, and ID Type, then click [Next].
Click [I'm Ready] to continue.
You will be automatically redirected to the Document Upload page, followed by the Face Recognition page. Please complete both steps according to the on-screen instructions.
Finally, review the recognized information (Full Name, ID Number) to ensure accuracy.
If everything is correct, click [Next], or modify the information if needed.
Note: The basic information must exactly match the ID document.
② Address Verification
After your identity verification is approved, tap [Verify Now] under the Address Verification section to proceed.
Follow the on-screen instructions, fill in the required address details, and click [Submit] after confirming all information is accurate.
Then, wait for the verification process to be completed.
