When my hands itch to chase after a move, I now pause for ten seconds and ask myself: Is the reason I add to my position really being pushed by “I just saw some new information,” or by “fear of missing out”? To put it simply, if there’s truly new information, the on-chain traces can usually line up: whether there’s a backdoor in the contract permissions, whether the LP is actually locked, whether the team wallet suddenly becomes active… If I don’t check these and I just look at the candlestick chart and say a couple of things in the group, then it’s basically just emotional trading.

Lately, this wave of attention cycling driven by Meme tokens plus celebrity calls has become even more obvious. Once the hype kicks in, everyone seems to get pulled over like they’re being attracted by a magnet. The old players telling newcomers not to take the last baton—I used to think that sounded wordy, but now I kind of get it… In any case, I’d rather make a little less than become a contributor to “tuition fees” again. That’s it for today—hold back and don’t make a move impulsively.
