ME News Report, April 22 (UTC+8), a small group of users gained access to Mythos through a private forum. Anthropic’s testing revealed that Mythos possesses high-level computer security capabilities, capable of identifying thousands of software vulnerabilities, leading to an indefinite suspension of public release. It is now selectively available only to about 50 companies and organizations maintaining critical infrastructure and software, including Amazon, Google, and the Linux Foundation, with the goal of allowing them to patch vulnerabilities before hackers can exploit them. Last week, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei met with senior officials from the Trump administration to discuss how to address the cybersecurity threats posed by Mythos. The White House described the meeting as “productive and constructive.” Anthropic is also in talks with government agencies regarding early access to Mythos. This engagement may help ease tensions, as Anthropic is currently involved in two court cases against the U.S. government over the Pentagon’s model usage terms. (Source: BlockBeats)
