Zhipu will stop subscribing to the GLM Coding Plan old package with no weekly limit starting April 30.
According to Beating Monitoring, Zhipu issued an announcement, stating that starting from 10:00 AM Beijing time on April 30, 2026, the automatic renewal of the old plan for AI programming assistance service GLM Coding Plan “No Weekly Limit” will be discontinued. Affected users will be gifted 2 months of the same level new plan benefits.
The official stated that due to the continuous growth in usage scale, the original no weekly quota supply method can no longer support long-term stable service. This adjustment only applies to users who are currently subscribed to the old plan and have enabled auto-renewal. The price and benefits of the current subscription cycle will not be affected, and the gifted 2 months of benefits will be automatically issued on April 30. After the compensation period ends, users who wish to continue using the service will need to subscribe to the latest plan online at that time.
