The Ministry of Commerce imposes anti-subsidy duties on dairy products originating from the European Union
According to the Ministry of Commerce, Announcement No. 9 of 2026 has been issued, finalizing the anti-subsidy investigation on imported dairy products originating from the European Union. The investigation confirmed that these dairy products are subsidized, causing substantial damage to China’s domestic industry. It has been decided to impose anti-subsidy duties starting from February 13, 2026. The duties will be levied based on the customs-assessed import price and will be in effect for five years. Interested parties may apply for a review during this period. Those dissatisfied with the ruling can request administrative reconsideration or legal proceedings in accordance with the law.
