How to create an order in Pre-Market OTC?
Step 1: Open Gate App
Open Gate app and log in to your account. Click on your profile on the front page. Then click “Pre-Market Trading” on the “Trade” page.
Step 2: Create an order
Maker
Select the token you want to trade with, and tap “Create Order”.
Enter the amount and price in “Buy”or “Sell” section, then check the order details and fees. Tap “Buy” or “Sell” button to complete the order creation.
Taker
You can select an appropriate price in the order book section and click to buy or sell. After confirming the order details such as amount and price, submit the order and complete the payment (including the collateral amount).
Please note:
Both the buyer and seller need to pay trading fees in advance. The seller pays the collateral amount based on LTV, and the buyer pays the corresponding amount according to the order. If the delivery is successful, the seller will receive the payment and the collateral amount, and the buyer will receive the corresponding amount of tokens. If the delivery fails, the seller will lose the entire collateral amount, and the buyer will receive an indemnity from the seller and the total amount paid will be refunded.
How to cancel an order in Pre-Market OTC?
If you want to cancel an unfilled order, go to “My Orders” - “Current Orders”, select the order you want to cancel and tap “Cancel”. For bulk operation, you can tap “Cancel All” to cancel all open orders.
Please note:
Filled orders cannot be canceled.
How to check order history in Pre-Market OTC?
If you want to check order history, go to “My Orders”- “Order History”. You can filter the order side and order status to display the corresponding historical orders.
How to complete delivery in Pre-Market OTC?
As a buyer, you just need to wait for the delivery time once the order is matched, and you will receive tokens if the seller delivers all the tokens on time.
As a seller, you need to make sure that there are sufficient required tokens in your spot/unified account, and complete the delivery before the end of the delivery time.
Please note that if the delivery time is later than the opening time, the seller can buy tokens in the spot market after the opening of the market for delivery.
