Vans: If Iran does not reach an agreement, the U.S. may resort to "undisclosed measures"

BlockBeatNews

BlockBeats message: On April 8, U.S. Vice President Vance said that if Iran fails to reach an agreement before that night’s deadline, the U.S. may escalate its actions against Iran, even using previously “unutilized means.”

Vance said the U.S. has the “ability to inflict greater pain,” but stressed that neither Trump nor he himself “wants to go that far,” and that negotiations are currently being actively pushed forward.

He said the U.S. expects to receive Iran’s response by 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time on the 7th (8:00 a.m. Beijing Time on the 8th), regardless of whether the outcome is positive or negative. Vance warned that the U.S. still has “unutilized means.” If Iran does not cooperate, the U.S. does not rule out using these means.
