Mitsui O.S.K. Lines reports that an LNG carrier has passed through the Strait of Hormuz

BlockBeats message, April 3, according to Reuters, Japanese shipping company Mitsui O.S.K. Lines said Friday that one of its Japanese liquefied natural gas carriers has passed through the Strait of Hormuz.

A spokesperson for Mitsui O.S.K. Lines said that the crew on the ship “SOHAR LNG,” which sails under the Panamanian flag, are currently safe, but did not disclose the specific time it transited the strait, nor did it say whether any form of negotiations had taken place regarding passage.
