Resolv Labs: Out of the 80 million USR tokens minted illegally, 46 million have been permanently removed.

Gate News reports that on March 26, Resolv Labs announced the latest developments regarding the reduction of illegally minted USR supply. The official statement says that of the 80 million USR illegally minted during the attack on March 22, approximately 46 million (about 57% of the total) have been permanently removed from circulation through destruction and blacklisting. The addresses associated with the attacker no longer hold any illegal minted assets that can be transferred or exchanged. To reduce the amount of illegally minted USR, several measures have been taken: on March 22, about 9 million USR were destroyed through two transactions; approximately 36 million USR held in the attacker’s associated wallet as wstUSR have been blacklisted. This was achieved by upgrading the wstUSR contract, which requires a 72-hour timelock; the remaining USR held by the attacker has been destroyed.
