Specifically, they converted 2,178 BNB, 20 BTC, and 1.466 million CAKE into 2,257.3 ETH, worth approximately $4.72 million. Based on on-chain data, the attacker initially invested about $9.92 million to launch the attack and has currently recovered only about $5 million worth of ETH. It is still unclear whether they coordinated with centralized exchanges for margin trading or other activities to gain additional profits.
