Coinbase has launched a regulated futures trading service in Europe for Coinbase Advanced users in 26 countries, including Germany, France, and the Netherlands.

The new product allows investors to access futures contracts for Bitcoin, Solana, and stock indices. The platform offers “perpetual-style” contracts with expiration dates of up to 5 years, simulating the experience of trading popular perpetual contracts in the cryptocurrency market.

Some products allow up to 10x leverage, helping traders increase their access to the derivatives market. This move marks Coinbase’s expansion in Europe amid growing demand for regulated cryptocurrency derivatives products.
