Industrial Bank has clearly defined the next phase of development with the keywords “Five Transformations” — digital intelligence, green transformation, internationalization, comprehensive integration, and ecological development. At the same time, focusing on building a modern industrial system, the bank continues to enhance its four flagship areas: technology finance, green finance, wealth management banking, and investment banking, strengthening comprehensive financial services along the innovation chain, supply chain, equity chain, capital chain, and talent chain.

Specifically, Industrial Bank’s strongest traditional advantages remain green finance and corporate industry finance. By 2025, loans in technology finance and green finance both surpassed one trillion yuan. The president further disclosed that the balances of medium- and long-term loans in technology finance, green finance, inclusive finance, and manufacturing increased by 18.47%, 19.05%, 7.22%, and 14.91% respectively compared to the end of the previous year.

Industrial Bank has always emphasized the “Commercial Bank + Investment Bank” model, which it regards as a key strategic approach. Both the large investment bank FPA and the transformation investment bank FPA achieved growth of over 7%. Key products such as non-financial bonds, offshore bonds underwriting, M&A financing, and syndicate loans continued to lead the industry. Through a combination of “loans + bonds + M&A + syndicates + asset management,” the bank deepens its full-cycle corporate services.

Artificial Intelligence: Industrial Bank’s positioning of AI is quite high. In terms of implementation, their AI is more focused on risk control, approval, data enhancement, and core management processes of banking. They continuously iterate digital risk control models and full-process risk monitoring systems, improving their exclusive “technology-driven” evaluation methods; simultaneously, they actively explore AI application scenarios, accelerate the construction of key projects such as intelligent due diligence and intelligent review, and promote the enhancement of intelligent risk control capabilities.

Industrial Bank’s AI approach is not about creating flashy front-end interactions but about reshaping the bank’s core. It is more like embedding AI into processes such as “commercial + investment banking,” industrial finance, risk approval, and data enhancement, making the management system faster, more accurate, and more replicable. Unlike some banks that emphasize intelligent customer service and digital avatars, Industrial Bank’s AI focus leans more towards “industrial finance + risk control.”
