Fluent is a Layer 2 scaling network built on Ethereum, which has recently launched its mainnet alongside its native token, BLEND.
Unlike most L2 solutions, Fluent’s core innovation is Blended Execution, designed to allow applications built for different blockchain virtual machines (VMs) to operate within a unified chain environment, eliminating isolation between them.
Traditional blockchains typically support only a single virtual machine, such as:
EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine)
SVM (Solana Virtual Machine)
Wasm (WebAssembly)
Fluent takes a different approach. Its Blended Execution mechanism integrates multiple VM logics into a single system, utilizing an intermediary layer called rWasm for conversion, and ultimately executes within a shared state.
This isn’t cross-chain interoperability—it’s a single chain natively supporting multiple execution environments. This architecture enables developers to maintain full functionality without sacrificing compatibility or rewriting their applications.

Upon mainnet launch, Fluent introduced approximately $50 million in liquidity and, together with partner Nerona, rolled out its native stablecoin USDnr (Fluent Stablecoin), built on M0 infrastructure. Key features include: backing by underlying assets (such as U.S. Treasury bonds), protocol returns flowing back to the ecosystem, and serving as the core financial medium. This design allows on-chain assets to function not only as trading tools but also as sources of return.
Fluent addresses not only technical challenges but also trust issues, implementing a reputation mechanism called Prints:
Collect user behavior data
Integrate Ethos scores and Kaito social data
Establish programmable user reputation profiles
Developers can use Fluent Connect to filter trustworthy users, allocate resources or services, and create reputation-based financial products—transforming Web3 from pure anonymity to on-chain credit.
At mainnet launch, seven applications went live, including:
Vena: Lending protocol with interest rates based on user reputation
Yumi: Buy now, pay later service leveraging reputation
Pulse Predictor: On-chain prediction and voting tool
Pump Pals: Fantasy sports game
Blend: Return aggregation tool
Sprout: DeFi strategy management platform
These applications showcase Fluent’s integration of reputation and DeFi.
BLEND is the core functional token of the Fluent network, serving several primary purposes:
Payment of trading fees
Staking
Group governance and signal transmission
User Staking: Boosts Prints reputation level
Protocol Staking: Delegated to validator nodes, participating in consensus mechanism (FluentBFT)
The initial total supply is 1 billion tokens, with 10 million tokens (1%) sold in a public offering at $0.1 per token, for a fully diluted valuation of approximately $100 million. Distribution includes ecosystem development, investors, team, and group incentives. The airdrop represents about 0.71%, available for claim within 30 days.
Fluent Labs has raised about $11.2 million to date, including:
2025 Seed Round: Approximately $8 million (led by Polychain Capital)
Testnet Round: Approximately $2.2 million
2026 Public Offering: Approximately $1 million
The mainnet is now live and entering the real-world application phase.
Fluent’s design is driven by several core objectives:
Disparate chain development environments hinder interoperability → Unified through Blended Execution
Excessive reliance on attention in the market → Strengthened by a reputation system
Funds used only for trading → Introduction of yield-generating stablecoin
Fluent isn’t just another Layer 2 scaling solution—it’s redefining blockchain architecture. On the technical side, Fluent integrates multiple VM environments to enhance compatibility and developer flexibility across ecosystems; economically, its yield-generating stablecoin design delivers greater efficiency and value capture for on-chain funds; socially, it introduces an on-chain reputation system to reinforce identity trust and interaction. If these core innovations are successfully implemented, Fluent could become a new paradigm for multi-chain integration and decentralized application development.
