Scope of Reportable Misconduct
This program targets severe violations of Gate P2P trading protocols. Users should promptly gather evidence and report any merchant found engaging in the following activities that compromise platform security:
- Soliciting Off-Platform Transactions : Merchants inducing users to conduct fund transfers outside of the platform via chat boxes or other methods.
- Inducing Third-Party App Downloads : Merchants requiring users to download non-official messaging software, trading tools, or other unidentified applications.
- Directing to External Registration Links : Merchants requesting users to click and register on external platforms, phishing sites, or competing websites.
- Circumventing Platform Oversight : Any instructions or hints intended to bypass the platform’s escrow system or evade regulatory monitoring.
Reward and Verification Mechanism
To report the aforementioned violations, users must provide a complete and coherent chain of evidence, including but not limited to chat screenshots or screen recordings that clearly display order information.
For every valid report verified and confirmed by the compliance team, the whistleblower will receive a cash reward of 3 USDT. Rewards will be credited to the reporter’s account within 7 business days following successful verification.
Integrity Oversight and Risk Warning
Honest reporting is the foundation of community order. The platform strictly prohibits any form of fabricated facts or malicious false reporting targeting others.
- Penalties for False Reporting : If a report is verified as untruthful or maliciously misleading, the platform will take disciplinary action, such as deducting credit points or restricting P2P trading privileges, depending on the severity.
- Severe Violation Handling : For users involved in repeated malicious reporting or significant interference with platform operations, Gate reserves the right to permanently ban their account access.
Extended Support
If you encounter order disputes or financial anomalies during actual transactions, you may initiate an immediate appeal through official channels in addition to this reporting program. The Gate P2P team will continuously optimize the risk control system and dynamically adjust this reward program based on market conditions. For the same violation, the reward is granted only to the first user who submits valid evidence. Gate reserves the right of final interpretation of this activity.
