Join "KAÇUV Support Children Battling Cancer Program" to Aid Young Cancer Patients in Turkey

Gate Charity, Gate Group’s non-profit philanthropic organization, is launching the “KAÇUV Support Children Battling Cancer Program”, a new initiative aimed at supporting young cancer patients in Turkey. Cancer in children, though rare, affects only 2-4% of all cancer cases, and significantly impacts about 120 out of 1 million children annually, mainly in their early years and adolescence.

The program prioritizes fundraising to provide immediate aid to children with cancer, with leukemia being the most common type, constituting 30% of childhood cancer cases. Funds will support health and growth for those undergoing treatment and organize volunteer care activities to enrich their lives with joy through gifts like plush toys and remote-controlled cars.

The Hope Foundation for Children with Cancer (KAÇUV), was established in 2000 by affected families and physicians, partners in this endeavor. KAÇUV enhances the lives of these children and their families by offering free lodging in Family Houses during treatment and conducting activities to improve their well-being on multiple fronts.
