Coin界 News reports that according to Fortune, PayPal announced a significant expansion of the coverage for its stablecoin PYUSD. Starting this month, users in 70 countries globally will be able to hold, send, and receive PYUSD in the PayPal wallet. The newly added countries span South America, Africa, and multiple regions in Asia, including Uganda, Colombia, Peru, and others. Previously, PYUSD was only available to users in the United States and the United Kingdom. As overseas users gain access to PYUSD, they will also be able to earn yield by holding the stablecoin. Currently, the annualized yield rate for U.S. users is 4%.
