Bodhi has no tree, The bright mirror is not a stand. Originally there is not a single thing, Where can dust accumulate? As-it-is stillness is the mother, When thought moves, conditions arise. Emptiness and form are one thing, Everywhere dust accumulates.
The Zen gate says: "There is no single thing that is not mind, and no single mind that is not thing."
Mind creates matter, matter holds mind. The original mind as-it-is, when mind moves qi arises, two qi interact and transform into matter, losing the original mind. Matter is the movement of mind, mind and matter are one, not two; combining two into one reveals the Zen path.
Those who grasp at matter are turned by matter; Those who grasp at mind are bound by mind. Where both mind and matter are released, Freedom appears before you.
