PANews 2月3日消息，阿根廷加密货币骗局Generación Zoe的嫌疑人Rosa María González在委内瑞拉塔奇拉州圣克里斯托瓦尔被警方逮捕。该骗局导致数万名投资者损失超过1.2亿美元。González被指控在2022年骗局崩盘后，携带611枚比特币（价值约5600万美元）潜逃。
Generación Zoe声称通过市场预测机器人和自有的黄金支持加密资产，为投资者提供高达7.5%的回报。然而，调查发现其实际为庞氏骗局，利用新投资者的资金支付旧投资者的“分红”。González还曾声称其开发的交易算法具有“量子安全”功能，每月收益高达70%。
据悉，González在布宜诺斯艾利斯使用私人安保公司躲避警方追捕，之后逃往委内瑞拉，并试图与前合伙人策划新的诈骗项目。目前，复杂的外交局势使得将其引渡回阿根廷面临挑战。阿根廷警方希望她能交代真相，追回投资者的损失。
