MetaMask Carte finally launched nationwide in the US, even available in New York.

The most interesting thing is that it uses a custodial model, so your assets are always in your hands, only converting to fiat currency at the time of payment, unlike other crypto cards that require depositing into an exchange.

The standard card offers up to 1% cashback, and the newly launched metal card has an annual fee of $199 but provides 3% cashback, making the metal card seem more cost-effective.
MetaMask Card is issued by Cross River Bank and supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, usable at over 1.5 million merchants worldwide.

Interestingly, they have made crypto payments very seamless, just like using a regular credit card.
It has already been launched in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, and other places, and it feels like MetaMask is making a pretty steady move.
