Goldfinance reports that on April 20th, American entrepreneur Elon Musk was summoned by the French prosecutors, requiring him to undergo an investigation in Paris regarding alleged misconduct on the social media platform X he mentioned, including the dissemination of suspected adult images and the proliferation of fake content on the platform. The Paris prosecutor’s office stated that Musk and former X platform employee Linda Yakarino were both summoned for “voluntary questioning,” and some employees of the platform are scheduled to be questioned as witnesses this week. It is currently unclear whether the mosque and Yakarino will travel to Paris. This summons stems from an investigation launched by the Paris prosecutor’s office’s cybercrime department in January 2025. In February, investigators searched the X platform’s offices in France.
