Wu Shuo obtained information that according to ZachXBT's disclosure, Circle froze USDC balances in 16 different business hot wallets late yesterday. The user stated that they have directly communicated with one of the affected businesses, which claimed the freeze is related to an unrevealed U.S. civil case. ZachXBT believes these wallets involving exchanges, casinos, forex and other businesses have no obvious connections to each other, questioning whether Circle conducted sufficient due diligence on the freeze request; and stated that the relevant wallets are operational hot wallets used by businesses to process large volumes of user transactions, with the freeze already impacting their daily operations.
